Dr Boben Thomas is a medical and Pediatric Oncologist with 15yrs of experience He did his oncology training from AIMS Kochi and TMH Mumbai. He was earlier associated with AIMS Kochi, and KIMS Trivandrum He is the founder and current secretary of TOC and AMPOK. He was the organizing secretary of the 38th ICON meeting conducted at Kochi March 2018. He has received training in clinical research from Oxford University London and Symbiosis University Pune. He has received training in Immunotherapy from ESMO ( European Society of Medical Oncology).
Dr. Nimmy Varghese is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist currently based in Trivandrum. She completed her specialisation in Radiation Oncology at the renowned Apollo Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad, gaining extensive clinical expertise in a high-volume, modern setup equipped with 2 linear accelerators and HDR brachytherapy suites.
She is highly skilled in advanced precision radiotherapy planning and delivery using the Eclipse Planning System, with independent expertise in 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT. Her clinical repertoire includes specialized, stereotactic, and complex techniques such as SRS, SRT, SBRT, Total Body Irradiation (TBI), and Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET). She is also adept in intracavitary and intravaginal brachytherapy for cervical and endometrial malignancies. In addition to radiation techniques, she has comprehensive experience in systemic cancer management, including cancer chemotherapy, metronomic regimens, and modern immunotherapy. Prior to her clinical practice in Trivandrum, she was associated with Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi.
Dr. Uddiptya is a Consultant Medical and Hemato-Oncologist with a special interest in Breast, Lung, Colon, Gynaecology, hematological malignancies, Geriatric Oncology and Palliative Care.
He completed his super-speciality training (DrNB) in Medical Oncology from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, followed by an ESMO Fellowship in Palliative and Supportive Care at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool, UK.
He currently holds multiple leadership positions within the Association of Medical & Paediatric Oncologists of Kerala (AMPOK) and the Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (ISMPO). His academic contributions include over 10 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
He is currently the national hub leader from India for Oncodaily
Dr. Uddiptya is a recipient of the Roche LEAP Award and was a finalist for the TYSA Award. He has been an invited speaker at the UICC World Cancer Congress and the ESMO Annual Congress, reflecting his growing international recognition in the field of oncology.
